A cab tilt hose looks simple, but ordering the wrong one wastes time and money. Use this checklist before you order.
1. The OE number
Check the hose for a printed number. If you have it, check it against our cab tilt hose list. This is the quickest and safest way.
2. The length
Measure the old hose from the end of one fitting to the end of the other, laid out straight. If the hose is badly kinked or damaged, measure the space where it runs on the truck instead.
3. The end fittings
Look at both ends. Note the thread type and size, and whether each end is straight or angled. Take a clear photo of both ends next to a ruler. This is the most common reason for ordering the wrong hose.
4. One hose or both
If one hose has failed because of age, the other one is the same age. Replacing both at the same time saves a second repair later.
5. After you fit the new hose
Check the oil level, bleed the system, and check every fitting for leaks while the cab is raised and held by its safety stay. Never work under a cab that is not secured.
Not sure which hose you need?
Send us the truck model and year, the OE number if you have it, and a photo of the old hose with both ends visible. We will confirm the right hose before you order.
OE numbers and truck brand names are for reference only. RHAP parts are aftermarket parts, not original parts from the truck manufacturers.
Wenzhou Ruiheng Auto Parts (RHAP) supplies aftermarket cab tilt pumps, cab tilt cylinders, hoses and repair kits for European heavy-duty trucks, including Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Scania, MAN, Renault, Iveco and DAF. Send us the OE number, VIN or a photo and we will confirm the right part before you order.
